How I stopped losing boss fights in Emberfall Saga
Emberfall Saga's boss fights humbled me. I walked in with my strongest attackers, spammed my biggest moves, and got wiped in three turns. The game was clearly trying to tell me something I wasn't listening to.
The something was positioning. Where you stand changes what hits you and how hard. Once I started keeping my fragile characters at the back and using the front row to soak damage, fights that felt impossible suddenly became manageable.
I also learned to slow down. The turn timer is generous, and taking an extra few seconds to read enemy telegraphs saved me constantly. Bosses in this game have clear patterns, but they're easy to miss if you're rushing.
My last piece of advice is to actually experiment with your bench characters. The one I ignored for hours turned out to have the exact defensive ability I needed. Don't lock into a favorite party too early.
