Mobile games, played and explained

We download, play, and write about the mobile games people actually talk about. No fluff, no copied press kits — just honest notes on how each game feels once you're a few hours in. Recently our team spent a week with Big Rush Luck and wrote up everything we learned.

Why us

We actually play

Every review comes from real sessions on real phones, not a marketing sheet. If we didn't finish enough of a game, we tell you where we stopped.

No paid ratings

Scores reflect what the team thought, full stop. Nobody pays us to bump a number up.

Mixed genres

We cover racing, RPGs, strategy and more, so the catalog isn't one flavor of game over and over.

Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga

★★★★★ 4.6

Emberfall Saga surprised us. Mobile RPGs often feel like menus with a story bolted on, but this one actually wants you to care about its cast. You recruit party members, each with their own voice and quirks, and the writing has enough personality to make the downtime between fights worth reading.

  • Characters with actual personality
  • Positioning-based combat
  • Respects your time

Questions & answers

How do you choose which games to cover?

We pick games we're actually curious about and try to keep the mix of genres wide. Popularity plays a part, but so does whether the game does something worth writing about. If nobody on the team wants to play it, we don't cover it.

Do publishers pay you for reviews?

No. Our scores and opinions aren't for sale, and we don't run sponsored posts disguised as reviews. If we ever accepted anything that could affect our coverage, we'd disclose it clearly on the page.

Can I suggest a game for you to review?

Absolutely, we love suggestions. Drop us an email with the game and why you think it's worth a look. We can't promise to cover everything, but we read every message and keep a running list, and Big Rush Luck actually made it onto the site after a reader nudge.

Is there advertising on the site?

We may run light, unobtrusive ads to help cover hosting costs. They never influence what we write or the scores we give. Anything sponsored, if it ever happens, will be labeled as such.
